Mold hiding in your home could be causing health problems for you and your family. Symptoms of mold exposure include sneezing, runny nose, or skin rash, even in people who have no mold allergies. For years, PES has provided mold removal and remediation services for real estate transactions, property managers, homeowners and landlords. Our unique process is designed to create as little disruption as possible for you, the homeowner. Much of our work can be done in just one day.
Our Proven Mold Removal & Remediation Process
We test and investigate mold damage, as well as provide mold remediation for anything found that warrants cleanup. Most importantly, we test before we begin, and only quote for the work that needs to be done. We are certified mold removal experts, with years of mold remediation experience, following IICRCS520 protocol. Our remediation services include:
- Pre-remediation inspection and testing to establish benchmarks
- Development of mold protocols to protect the home and occupants
- Cleaning, removal and sanitizing the environment using ANABEC products, offering up to 30 year warranties
- Post-remediation clearance testing to validate the success of the project
Mold Remediation Methods
Depending on the severity of the mold, many methods of remediation will be explored. Our strategy will be tailored to the unique needs of your property. Some are non-invasive, such as the use of anti-microbial scrubs to remove the mold. More severe cases require that the contaminated materials be removed. At PES, we make quality and safety our top priorities when working a demolition or restoration project. We follow strict IICRC S520 protocol, including containment, for the protection of the home owners and our employees. We use only ANABEC mold products, providing optional extended warranties. We can do as much or as little of the re-construction work as you would require.
Crawl Space Encapsulation
Depending on the soil, home construction, venting, etc., homes can rapidly be exposed to crawlspace mold contamination. With over 40 percent of the home’s interior air coming from the crawlspace, it is important to keep the humidity in these areas within acceptable limits. A typical 1,000 sqft crawlspace can produce as much as 10 gallons of moisture every day, rising into the home. Our company will evaluate and test the cavity for any existing problems, treat and eliminate mold issues with warranties up to 30 years, and install de-humidifiers or full sealed encapsulations, should your situation require it. Again, each home is different, and we only recommend the solutions that best fit your circumstances.
